I have 20 years experience in music education, mainly as a secondary school Music teacher and HOD. I teach privately and as an Itinerant Music Teacher (Woodwind) in secondary schools around the Bay of Plenty.
I am a fully registered classroom teacher, a member of MENZA, and hold a Bachelor of Music (Musicology) and Postgraduate Teaching Diploma (Secondary) from The University of Auckland.
I have a full understanding of the expectations and standards necessary for NCEA Music, both in marking and developing material for use within the classroom.
